Ecosystem Listings

https://siesociety.org/ecosystem

  • All listings have to have encyclopedic terminology, speaking to facts and achievements, resources and reality, not ad-lingo.
  • No duplicates. Always check for existing listings.
  • 2 Categories max. per organization; if they do a lot of different things, we list them in the two most important parts of their program.
  • All universities listed must have an institute, class, minor or major, with a specific website to point to the SIE program.
  • All companies listed must have publicly accessible information about their impact work.
  • No news media including social-first news channels will be listed, only dedicated entertainment arms of news media (i.e. not listing CNN, but CNN Films).
  • All generic foundations / non-profits need to list entertainment properties they funded in order to remain listed (inside of the description as well as on their website).
  • Margin calls will be determined by editorial staff of SIE Society.
  • Any misinformation producers and organizations publishing hate speech will be immediately removed from the Ecosystem and contacted for an investigation.

Resource Library

https://siesociety.org/sie-topics/

  • Each category has to have a minimum of 5 resources before publication of the category
  • Each resource published must pass a “minimum effort as value” test, in effect having taken the original publisher at least an estimated 20 hours to assemble.
  • We initially just publish links to each resource directly, but we always keep a backup on Google Drive and a download link on the SIE Society website.
  • If we get the consent of the org to publish our backup mirror links, then we add that to the listing.
