Fundi Films is an international social impact production company with an African base. We work with international broadcasters, global NGOs, and non-profits to produce compelling and entertaining stories with a social impact.
Over the last 20 years we have produced documentaries, animated TV series, talk shows, docudramas, current affairs specials, and radio dramas. He believes in being flexible about genre and style to find the right format to reach your audience and tell powerful stories; from a stop-motion animation film about “The Rights of the Child”, to powerful health docudramas like “Kufa au Kupoma/Life or Death”, and to short mobile series about the impacts of climate change in rapidly developing cities.
In 2022 Fundi Films won the International Emmy Award for “My Better World”, a 55-episode life skills and behaviour change series for teenagers. It follows the adventures of six African teens as they navigate the complex challenges of school, family, and friendship. In 2017 their were recognised by the United Nations for “film achievement that best exemplifies the ideals and goals of the United Nations.”
Fundi Films to bring together young people and media creatives with behavioural and communication experts to create inspiring and relevant content. Founder Chris Morgan is also an advisor to the World Bank working on digital engagement.
