HF Productions runs a global slate of 26 film festivals across 16 countries championing social impact narratives, and providing educational opportunities for people to unite culturally through stories. The events are free-to-attend for expressly this purpose to create and nurture community and stimulate local cultural activities.
HF has consulted for companies including VICE Media on their Change Incorporated initiative, for SYBO Games on their marketing/licensing around Subway Surfers, the most downloaded game in the world (3 billion downloads) and makers of the launch video and logo for UNEP’s Playing for the Planet.
HF shares a unique relationship with the United Nations. Based on our successes and commitments to our social impact mission, we were approached by UN DESA to co-organize the SDGs in Action Film Festival and participate as invited experts during the High Level Political Forum in New York. From there we were approached by SONY to consult on their Picture This Festival for the Planet, became founding members of UN Environment’s Playing for the Planet initiative, and launched our own Arctic Film Festival as a SMART badge approved project on the UN SDG Development Platform.
