Amplifying Impact Fund
About The Fund
SIE Society has partnered with Partners in Kind for the Amplifying Impact Fund, a $50 million equity fund for Social Impact Entertainment projects focused on tangible results. The goal of the Amplifying Impact Fund is to provide funding for projects initiated by SIE Society’s members that generate global change through entertainment and can make a return on the investment. As part of the fund, each project will be accompanied by a robust social impact campaign, with a strong emphasis on measurable outcomes. Partners in Kind and SIE Society are dedicated to not only creating captivating narratives but also measuring the real-world impact these stories have on communities, perspectives, and key social issues.
Please make sure all pitches include partnerships or strategies for partnering with the non-profit and corporate sector. It is crucial industries unite around impact and this will be a key piece of the assessment process for SIE Society.
The Rubric
Partners in Kind employs a unique rubric to assess prospective projects and collaborations, focusing on elements critical to our mission. This method combines a quantitative approach with our heart-centered mission, emphasizing both sustainability and the potential for financial recoupment.
The Non-Negotiable Elements
How to Make And Measure Impact in Entertainment
The goal of measuring impact is to effectively track, understand and communicate the impact of the film.* It can be difficult to measure when a story lands in a person’s heart, especially when it takes root in unexpected ways, days, weeks, months or even years later. Thus, it is helpful to draw a distinction between measurable and unmeasurable impact. Measurable impact can be understood through what the audience learned, how their attitudes shifted, what actions they have taken, and new behaviors and relationships that have taken root.
